Scholars Academy Sunnyslope is a free, tuition-free public charter school serving Kindergarten through 8th grade students in Phoenix. We are proud to serve the Sunnyslope, Lookout Mountain, and surrounding communities, and we believe that a strong education should be within reach of every family in our neighborhood.

Our mission is to empower all scholars to succeed in college and 21st century careers. We do that by providing strategic academics, supporting the needs of each student, engaging family members, building community partnerships, and developing exceptional educators. Every part of our school is built around helping children grow into skilled readers, critical listeners, accomplished speakers, and confident writers.

We are a special place where your children will feel like family. We keep our classroom sizes small so that instruction can be personalized, and we work hard to make every family feel welcomed and appreciated from the very first day. That sense of belonging is something families notice quickly, and it is something we protect carefully.

Along with a strong academic core, we focus on strong character development and experiential learning. Our students take part in athletic competitions, artistic performances, and hands on activities that help them build the learning, innovation, digital literacy, and life skills they will carry well beyond our campus.

We are located at 1055 East Hearn Road in Phoenix, and our campus is open Monday through Friday. If you would like to learn more about our school or see whether it is the right fit for your child, we would love to hear from you.
